Sparc combines hard-edged, cosmopolitan designs with the opulence and softer influence of the ocean, sand and mountains. I like to mix unusual colors and textures with a fusion of ancient art to provide a constant flow of eye-candy and I take pride In creating each piece to be unique in design. I constantly come up with new designs; my imagination always being fueled by my surroundings. A walk on the beach in Provincetown inspired this particular body of work. I was collecting shells on a sandbar and found these little crab claws that I thought would look interesting cast with little diamonds set-in. My best childhood memories were of being on the Cape in the summer and I guess you could say that this line is dedicated to those memories. My heart will always lie somewhere on the beach on Cape Cod. We are so excited to have Susan as an artist at Giving Tree Jewelry and if there is a dream piece that you don't see here, Susan is happy to create it. |
